❈ CARING FOR YOUR SACRA GARMENT ❈

Each Sacra garment is lovingly hand-dyed. During the first wash, you may notice color released into the water. This is simply the fabric settling into its forever hue. Rest assured, the richness and depth of your piece will remain beautifully intact.

The items in our SOLE collection are made from Bemberg™ silk - a biodegradable, luxurious regenerated material derived from cotton linters as a byproduct of the cottonseed oil manufacturing in India.

Due to a delicate material composition, our garments deserve gentle and mindful care.

❈ OUR RECOMMENDED CARE RITUALS FOR LONGEVITY OF YOUR SACRA GARMENT ❈

Hand Washing
The most nurturing approach. Gently wash your garment in cool water with a delicate laundry product.

Machine Washing
If you prefer, treat your piece as you would the softest cashmere or wool: select a delicate cycle with cold water and a gentle spin (400 rpm).

During the first wash, please ensure that you only wash your same-colored Sacra items together, to avoid potential spill of color to your other clothes.

Washing Sacra pieces separately in the following machine washes is also recommended, to ensure that both the garment and your other beloved items are protected.

Drying
To prevent creasing and to preserve the garment’s elegant drape, place your item on a (padded) hanger to dry. For a quick refresh, let it air on a hanger for a few hours before wearing, to allow creasing to reduce, and the fabric to breathe.

Finishing Touches
A handheld steamer will gently release any folds, restoring material’s natural flow, silkiness and smoothness. Please avoid direct ironing to honor the integrity of the silk.
